On the 2nd November, 2023, we had the pleasure of hosting representatives from NiRA at our office. It was an insightful discussion on enhancing our partnership with the Registry.
During the discussion with the representatives of Nigeria Internet Registration Association, several important issues raised were; the necessity for a shorter propagation period, internal monitoring of the NiRA system to promptly detect and address any issues as they arise. To ensure a timely response to correspondence, and also extending the time frame for domain deletion and unlocking.
In response, a NiRA representative expressed their commitment to addressing these concerns and requested us to compile a list of functionalities we require on the Cocca app, and those we cannot do without.
As the meeting drew to a close, the upcoming NiRA award, scheduled for November 17, 2023, was also discussed.
